This email is coming to you from the athlete warm up area of the CrossFit Games, where my Mom (Patty Bauer) just took first place in the 65+ age division, crowning her the fittest 65 year old on earth for 2021. Being her son (and coach) I couldn’t be more proud. And even cooler than winning, she had a blast (and met a bunch of other amazing athletes)!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Best event of the year –
The CrossFit Games in Madison Wisconsin
This is my second time attending the CrossFit Games, and it is by far the most inspiring event on the planet! Amazingly fit, nice, successful people, who all work their butts off to make themselves and those around them better.
If you have the chance… I highly recommend attending, at any age, at any fitness level. Come get inspired!
Most inspiring thing I’ve seen in ages –
Every single athlete above the age of 50 competing at the CrossFit Games.
It’s just working out, working on your weaknesses (physical and mental), and trying to get better no matter your age.
Don’t ever give up on improving yourself! Ever! And if you need inspiration find people like these to hang around. Don’t accept mediocrity!
THIS IS NOT ONLY FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. Get that out of your head!
The product that I’m testing to give me more energy during workouts –
UCAN Energy Powder
This is a blood sugar maintaining carb that gives you sustained energy for workouts (and life).
I’m just testing this right now, but like it so far.
Due to coaching an athlete at the CrossFit Games, I’m going to cut this email short at this point.
BUT… 🙂 if you’d like to try the workout program that the fittest 65 year old in the world does… you can sign up for 2 free weeks here! The program can be done at home or at your gym.
