Hey hey!
We’re still hanging out in Ashland, OR while I wait for my new bike frame to arrive. The only update I’ve got is that it’s finally on the move—shipped all the way from Eastern Canada—so who knows how long we’ll be parked here.
The silver lining? The trails here are incredible. Steep, technical, and just the kind of riding that gets my heart rate up in the best way. Every day here is a gift—legs burning, views popping, and bikes getting sent (even if they’re rentals for now ?).
Here’s what I’ve been digging this week in the worlds of fitness, mindset, and fun…
? Book I’m Loving
Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself by Joe Dispenza (Amazon)
This book digs deep into the science of change—whether you’re looking to improve your health, shift your mindset, build better habits, or just feel more joy in your day.
If any trend in your life feels stuck—financial, emotional, physical—there’s a strong chance you’re (unintentionally) reinforcing it. And this book shows you how to flip that script.
I’m about halfway through and already planning to reread it right after I finish. It’s that good.
? Cookie Corner: A Vanlife-Induced Obsession
Okay, maybe not fitness-related—but life is about balance, right?
I had what might be one of the best chocolate chip cookies of my life: the Chocolate Chunk with Sea Salt from Bluebird Bakery.
Why it rocked:
- Super buttery
- That perfect salty finish
- Just the right amount of chew
- Not overwhelmed with chocolate
Bluebird is based in Portland, but you can find their baked goods from Ashland all the way up to Seattle (check out Met Market if you’re up north).
? New MTB Video from Italy!
We just dropped Day 5 from our Molini, Italy MTB adventure, and it’s a wild one:
- Steep lines
- Big OTB crashes ?
- And another ride through a cobblestone village straight out of a postcard
If you’re into two wheels and trail vibes, this one’s a must-watch.

That’s it for now. I’m off to ride some steep Ashland trails on an e-bike and pretend my real bike isn’t still en route. ?
Until next week—get outside, move your body, and crush your goals.
