In the last 8 months (on the road) I’ve talked to a LOT of different people, and people tend to have a TON of assumptions about health, fitness, how to look good, and more. So, in this show I’m going to (after 20 years of coaching) set things straight.
The coolest thing I’ve done this week –
Beach hoping in the Virgin Islands (St John’s)
Holy smokes, if you ever get the chance I would highly recommend making the trip out to the US Virgin Islands, and exploring the National Park on St John. There’s hiking/trail running, snorkeling, swimming, wildlife, and more, it’s amazing! Checkout some of the pics here
Best cheat meal in a while –
Double meat and bacon burger at Tap & Still
Now I don’t eat burgers very often. In fact, my InsideTracker blood testing tells me to not eat red meat, but after a 10’ish mile trail run/hike around St John’s, and on a cheat day… I splurged! And I’m so glad I did because this was one of the best burgers I’ve had!
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
Nice people are the BEST!
We spent the last few days with some of the nicest people that we’ve met along our trip, and it really pounded home how amazing life is when you surround yourself with nice people.
It has been an eye opener to travel around the country and meet all kinds of different people.
And here’s the deal… It doesn’t matter where you’re from, what you’ve been through, what you’re trying to accomplish, or anything else… if you do you best to be a really good person, and you surround yourself with people that are doing the same… your happiness gauge will be pushed into full more often.
So, I challenge you to be your best self today! Be nice, smile at strangers, and see how it feels.
