This email is coming to you from Flagstaff AZ which is MUCH colder than the last time we were here! And we are still riding the high of the Gunny Loop in Grand Junction (see below).
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

What I’m listening to and loving –
Bill Gates on Armchair Expert Podcast
I didn’t realize how witty Bill Gates is. This podcast is very funny and informative on issues like global energy, the ultra wealthy, charity, and much more!
Top adventure this week – Gunny Loop
Mountain biking the Gunny Loop at Lunch Loops near Grand Junction CO (Trailforks)
Highly technical! I even had to walk a few sections, and very fun, with big climbs!
Right after dropping into this trail my rear brake got mushy on me and I wasn’t sure if I wasn’t able to stop quickly. When you’re mountain biking you always need to stop quickly, so this was very unnerving for me. Luckily I made it through with a little less speed than I would have liked (but still fun).
Two days later (Sunday) we got 6 inches of snow and the temps dropped from 70’s to 20’s overnight (the highs). Good thing we have an awesome heater in the van!
What I’m eating and loving –
Muesli Gluten Free by Bob’s Red Mill
There’s something about cereal that I’ve always loved! And this is basically cold, slightly crunchy oatmeal, with other goodies thrown in. If you like sweets you probably won’t like this, but I LOVE it!!

That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything at all, let me know!
Cheers,
