This email is coming to you from Fruita Colorado, where the highs are in the low 80’s and lows in the mid 50’s. Pretty much the perfect desert temps!
I am currently sitting at the sidewalk seating of Aspen Street Coffee, enjoying a cold brew while Over the Edge Fruita services my bike suspension.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting or noteworthy this week…

Our latest video –
How To Clean an Osprey Seral 7 Hip Pack Bladder by Emily Kramer
This is the kind of video that isn’t that exciting, UNLESS you need to clean one of these funky hip pack bladders. And in that case you are rocking excited about it ;-).
Super AWESOME trip –
The 5 Day Maze Bike Trip – This is what we just did last week with the company Holiday Bike Raft Adventures.
You could do this trip with your family or a group of friends and have an absolutely amazing time!
The riding is all double track on 4×4 roads with breathtaking views, and you get to hike 14 miles into the Maze District of Canyonlands National Park. Which (hence the name) is a VERY remote, and stunning environment.
PS you have to contact Holiday about doing the special 5 day trip. The website only shows the 4 day.
Coolest pooping location –
So, hopefully this doesn’t offend you too much :-). But when you are on these backcountry trips you get to poop in some pretty amazing places.
The above picture is the camp toilet overlooking the Maze in Canyonlands. Freaking amazing!!
Thought I’ve been pondering –
Life is short, do cool shit!
Basically plan the things you want to do NOW and get them done. Do not wait until the time is right, just get it done!
I’ve talked to a TON of people that have done amazing things in their lives and every single one of them agrees with this advice.
Do not wait to do the things that sound cool to you.
Checkout these pictures that Emily’s sister (Anna) just took from her trip in Brazil. Out-freaking-standing!!!
