Hi!
Welcome to another awesome Friday in your life! Here’s what I found warm and cozy, tasty, or interesting this week.
My latest podcast –

New purchase I’m loving –
Ugg Tasman Slippers
If you’re looking for some indoor/outdoor slippers that are super warm and comfy… wowza, these are great!
I actually wore them out to dinner the other day. Don’t tell! 🙂
What I’m listening to –
The Keto Reset Diet Interview of Mark Sisson on the Ben Greenfield Podcast
Mark is 60+ years old, and totally ripped!!! He’s the author over at MarksDailyApple.com, and has recently released the book called The Keto Reset Diet.
What I’m eating and loving –
Buffalo Chicken Chowder
Let me start by saying that I am NOT a fan of most soups or chowders. I would prefer to chew my food, not slurp it down. BUT, this Buffalo Chicken Chowder tastes amazing!!!
It’s also Paleo and Whole 30 approved, if that’s something you’re into…
What I’m pondering –
Time
Just yesterday, I was talking with an extremely successful entrepreneur, and he was telling me about the one thing that we all control, that is our most valuable currency, and that most people trade away too easily. Time.
We also talked about the reason that people will pay for your time is because they know how valuable it is.
The successful business owner understands this, and will pay you (in some cases) a lot of money for your time (a job). The interesting thing is that most people make that trade without thinking much about it. Are you one of those people?
And the truth is, he didn’t think that trading your time for money was a bad thing, but that most people trade their time for money now, and don’t think about how they are going to use the money (or education) for controlling more of their time later.
From there we got to talking about making the most of the time that you have, and making sure that you are scheduling time for the things that are important to you. Including family, friends, fitness, health activities. Everything. And if you think this is weird… I’ve been doing this for years, and it’s one of the best things I’ve every done.
Then we talked about the things that you pay for that actually take time away from your life. Yes, you pay to have your time taken. An example is cable TV. You are paying someone to take your time from you, while you do nothing. Remember you can’t get time back.
Now, I’m not saying that you should all go cancel your cable services, but I do think that people spend too much of their LIFE in front of a TV. So, look at your calendar, and schedule that giveaway time, as well as the important time so you make sure you’re not losing that.
Ok, enough about time. I just want you to have the most time that you can possibly have, and to make sure that you’re taking advantage of it!
Have a great rest of your weekend! And I’ll talk to you next week.
Cheers!
