Whoa, what a week! I feel like Spring has sprung here in Seattle. It will probably rain and snow for the next two weeks with no sun in sight after I’ve said this :-). Sorry folks!
Here’s what I’ve found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

Sandwich of the week 😉 –
The Monti Cristo Panini was a sourdough ham/turkey/bacon melt thing that (after doing the 5 day fast)… was about the best thing I’d ever put my tongue on!
The downside is that the only place you can get this sandwich is at Toga’s Soup House in Port Angeles Washington.
What I recommend doing is heading out to Port Angeles to ride the Dry Hills Mountain Bike Park on a shuttle day, and finishing your day with a Monti Cristo (or two). #awesomeday
Another reason to do the 5 day fast –
Healing for the win!
I’ve had this nagging elbow inflammation for about 4 months that has been hurting every time I do any pushing or elbow extension movements. Admittedly I haven’t been as good as I should have been about voodoo flossing it and scrapping it. That would have helped for sure.
BUT, after doing the 5 day FMD fast my elbow feels almost pain free!
Just in case you’re wondering… I did still workout hard while fasting, so it wasn’t just time off. Which I’ve found (time off) actually helps much less than figuring out how to get extra blood flowing to an injury (fyi). Movement is almost always best.
So, you can get healed faster, massive mental clarity and renewed motivation, AND rapid fat burning.
I just want to help you help yourself. Order the fasting kit here!
A ride that I want to do EVERY YEAR –
Riding (most of) The Whole Enchilada!
If you’ve even considered getting on a mountain bike you’ve probably heard of the Whole Enchilada trail! Well, maybe not. But it’s probably the most well known mountain bike trail in the United States. And for good reason!
This is one of the most fun days on a mountain bike that you can have. Checkout the video to see what I mean.
We only had one good crash.
