Hi!
This email is coming from the bank of the Colorado River at a campground in Moab Utah, after a full day of mountain biking. So if I sound tired… I am ;-).
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week.

My latest podcast –
AAJ 192: What’s In My CrossFit Gym Bag
If you’re looking for some tried and true things to throw into your gym bag… then this will be a fun podcast for you to listen to!
It was fun for me to record!
What I’m reading –
Educated by Tara Westover
This is a really interesting book that I currently can’t put down. And I think that’s because it’s so unusual.
It’s about a family that doesn’t believe in traditional systems, including sending children to school. Fascinating!
What I’m eating –
Pretzel Rolls from the City Market in Moab.
I eat extremely healthy, delicious food 90 percent of the time, and I like to fill my not so healthy 10% with high quality pizza and pretzel rolls.
But ONLY the really good pretzel rolls, and these are some of the best I’ve ever had. Actually, I’d be willing to say they are the best that I’ve had.
If you like a good pretzel roll you should make sure to grab some of these the next time you’re in Moab.
Amazing hike for the fit –
Fiery Furnace in Arches National Park
They only give out 75 permits per day to do the Fiery Furnace hike, and it’s a maze of towering red rock that can easily leave an experience hiker lost for hours.
To do this hike you should be comfortable with scrambling and holding your body weight in your arms, and if you can… you should ABSOLUTELY make this a must do!
Tip: mid-week the permits are pretty easy to get for the next day, but don’t count on getting one during the weekend without a VERY early wake up.

That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything at all let me know. I’m here for you!
Cheers,
