How’s your weeeeekend looking? 🙂
After a week of avoiding the cold weather in sunny Fruita CO we are back in Steamboat CO to catch a storm and solidify that buying an IKON pass was the right choice this season.
We’ve also confirmed that it’s far less stressful to chase sun and mountain biking than it is to chase snow and snowboarding. You’re probably like… “duh!”
We have thick skulls.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Some SUPER Exciting News –
We are putting together a partnership with the company we’ve been doing the Columbia/Ecuador mountain bike trips with, ActivExpedition! These guys do such an amazing job of making these trips so fun and easy that we are so stoked for this partnership!!
What does this mean…
It means we will be helping them promote their trips to get more people to have these amazing experiences!
AND it means that we will be inviting other mountain bikers to join us on 1-2 trips a year to experience these amazing place with us!!
If an international downhill/enduro type mountain bike trip sounds like fun to you… we are putting together a trip to Bolivia in late summer/fall of this year. There will only be 8 spots available, so let me know if you want more details. You are the first to know about this, so let me know!
Our NEW YouTube Video –
EPIC Ride in Oakridge (ATCA) – Incredible Forest – Endless Single Track!
I feel like Oakridge is kind of a hidden gem of epic mountain biking trails in Oregon. It’s even hard to find on Trailforks because of how they label the area.
You cannot beat the amazingness of the Oakridge forests! The green glows!
We got to ride these amazing trails with our friend Mitch, and you should definitely at the very least checkout the video, and at the most plan a trip to ride these trails!
Awesome Customer Service –
Over the Edge Fruita never seems to disappoint.
This can be applied to any business!
Every time you walk into this bike shop they have just the right amount of customer service. If you want help, they will bend over backwards for you. If you want to be left alone… they can do that too!
And the coolest thing is if you need work done on your bike and want to learn the what, why, and how.
Every single time I’ve talked to one of the Over the Edge mechanics I’ve learned something. It’s freaking amazing. Not only that, but if you need some work done it’s about 75% of what it costs in the Seattle area for faster/better work! Again, amazing!!
If you own a business or are a mountain biker… definitely stop by Over the Edge Fruita when you are in that area of Colorado!

That’s what I have for you this week! Remember that consistent small steps become massive results over time. Think about what you are building with your consistent small steps.
Cheers!
