AWESOME energy fuel before big ride/activity days –
Emily and I have been BIG fans of the UCAN energy gels and powders for a long time, so I guess it’s not surprising that we like this granola.
What is a big ride/activity day… It’s a day when you are doing 2+ hours of medium to high intensity activity. And for us that usually means that it’s starting early in the day and we don’t want to get up even earlier to eat a big breakfast.
AND, we’ve found that eating this granola has been even more energizing than our usually eggs and oatmeal breakfast, and quicker to digest.
Not to mention, if you like coco puffs… it kinda tastes like what I remember that tasting like. Don’t hold me to this, I haven’t had coco puffs in like 15 years.
Click this link to get yourself and extra 10% off (even above a sale price), then click this link to get to the granola. I know, it’s weird, but if you want a discount that’s how they make us do it. *The discount shows up in your cart.
PS this is better than other granola because it has the UCAN super starch in it. Read about it on their site if you’re skeptical. It works!
What I’m reading –
Dark Matter by Blake Crouch Amazon
If you like a good sci-fi mind bender…. You will love this book!
I found that I couldn’t read it before bed because it kept me up for hours.
NEW video –
Our SCARIEST Day on Mountain Bikes (yet) – The Ribbon Grand Junction
I think I told you about this day in the Fall when it happened.
Well, here is the FULL video of a day that was supposed to be fun, and turned into a weather nightmare! We had lightening, flash flooding, and a super sketchy river crossing to get off the trails.
This is not just clickbait, we were hiding under rock ledges to avoid the lightening (twice).
