This email is coming to you from Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming! We’ve been here since Friday, and still no bear sightings.
Here’s what I’ve found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

The latest YouTube video –
Mountain Biking the Hieleros Trail in Ecuador (AMAZING) – Day 5
This is my 100% FAVORITE ride that we did in Ecuador! Just checkout the views as we ride down the ridge line. It’s like mountain biking in Kauai but bigger!
If you like these… please like them :-)!
Meal of the week –
The Nooner burger at Liberty Burger in Jackson
This is still one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. Great burger ingredients and flavors with an egg plopped on top!
Incredible if paired with a long hard hike in the Tetons!
The best rehab tool I’ve ever used –
The Ready State Achilles Protocol
When you do a lot of activity… it becomes a balancing act between how hard you can train and how fast you can recover. And as most of you probably know… you get bumps and bruises that are hard to overcome sometimes.
In fact, most of you probably have these bumps and bruises without doing all the activities, and the activities could help. This is because it’s all about blood flow to recover these things.
Anyway, I’ve been managing achilles pain when running for 10 years without fully finding relief.
BUT when training for the pacing of the Leadville 100 I found this Achilles Protocol from The Ready State, and in two weeks I went from pain every time I ran, to pretty much zero pain.
It’s so not complicated, but you have to DO IT. For the achilles protocol it’s not rocket science, its blood flow restriction, scrapping, wrapping, suction, and compression. That’s it!
This is amazingly cool!!!

That’s what I have for you this week. If you have any questions or need anything… just let me know!
Cheers!
