Hi!
I hope that this email finds you happy, healthy, and ready for a great weekend! Here’s what I found interesting, fun, thought provoking, or delicious this week.
My latests podcast –
New Holiday Eating Attack Plan
This is an updated eating attack plan for this holiday season, OR anytime you might have a large feeding planned for the future.
This includes my latests thoughts on nutrient timing, fitness routines, and general plan for you to optimize your fat burning potential when you plan on eating a LOT.
What I’m watching –
Keto Brain Hack by the Consider This YouTube channel
The science around what a ketogenic diet can do for the brain is simply amazing. These videos by the Consider This channel are short, to the point, and full of interesting science.
I highly recommend you watch this, even if you don’t plan to go keto yourself.
My top Instagram post –
Great day of training with my CrossFit family
Every Saturday a big portion of our most competitive athletes get together for a really long, hard, fun training day. It’s the one day of the week that we all train together, and the only day we do a team workout.
Let me know if you’d like me to start posting these workouts, so you can do them with a friend (or two)…
Thought I’ve been pondering –
Recharging the batteries
If you’re like me at all then you have a hard time taking time off. And I mean time off from work or working out/training.
Those things that you know are good for you, but can be even better with the right amount of rest.
I find that I have so much fun and motivation to create new podcasts, write new articles, and (of course) workout as hard as possible. But we all need to recharge the batteries from time to time. And the truth is, taking a little time off will most likely help to propel us forward in our craft or training.
So, this time of year, let’s be ok with taking some time off, and letting those batteries recharge.
