This email is coming to you from our AirBnb near the start of the Leadville 100 ultra marathon, where our friend Scott will be starting the race tomorrow morning at 4am. We are a team of 5 friends, who are crewing and pacing for Scott to help him crush this goal!
Tomorrow night around 8pm I will start pacing (running) with Scott until about 2-3am, where I will tag Emily in to run with him from 2-3am until sometime around sunrise.
We appreciate the HECK out of people pushing their physical potential, and are STOKED to help Scott achieve this goal!
Let the adventure begin!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

Our latest adventure video –
Ecuador Mountain Biking – Lumbisi Bike Park Quito – Day 3 YouTube
This is one of the trails that we weren’t supposed to ride, but became an option due to the Quito protests closing roads to the scheduled trails.
And it was probably my second favorite ride of the trip!
It’s definitely worth a watch for the high speed mountain biking, and the falls we lived through ;-).
Book that I can’t put down –
True Believer by Jack Carr (Amazon), which is the second book of five in the Terminal List series.
If you are the type of person that liked the Mitch Rapp books… I think you’ll enjoy these! I’ve been burning through them.
Coolest campsite/mountain bike ride combo –
Tent City Campground and Teocalli Ridge Trail in Crested Butte CO
The picture above is from our campsite, which is FREE and freaking breathtaking! And the Teocalli Ridge ride had one of the hardest climbs we’ve done in recent memory, and an amazingly fun downhill, loaded with hero dirt!
The crazy thing is that if you do some exploring down the 4×4 roads… you’ll find (free) campsites that are even more amazing!
We will be heading back here FOR SURE!!

That’s what I have for you this week! If you need anything at all, please let me know!
Cheers!
