Hi!
Happy Friday! Here’s what I’ve found cool, fun, interesting, delicious, or nutritious this week.
My latest podcast –
AAJ 109: How to get complaining the F*** out of your life and feel great
Focus on the “feel great” part of the title, and use the tools in this podcast. This has TOTALLY helped me create my happy place ?.
What I’m putting in my coffee –
Keto//Kreme by Prüvit. This is a supplemental ketone coffee creamer, and it tastes wonderful!
You get the added energy, and fat burning from having the ketones, and it makes even bad coffee taste good. I’m drinking airplane coffee right now, and it’s mmmmmm good!
What I’m listening to and enjoying –
Tim Ferriss’ interview of Sir Richard Branson – the billionaire maverick of the Virgin empire.
I’m a true believer in studying people that have accomplished amazing things, and Richard Brandon has done some crazy, amazing things! This is worth a listen.
What I’m watching –
The CrossFit Invitational. This is a one day competition, where teams of four (two guys and two girls), from the US, Canada, Europe, and the Pacific regions, who have finished at the top of the CrossFit Games throw down to crown their region the Invitational winner.
This competition clearly shows how you can be a beast of a CrossFit athlete, but not work so well with others, in a team environment.
My most popular Instagram post –
I didn’t post enough this week to have a good one for you. Sorry!
Thought that I’m pondering – Listen first
You might think that you know what I’m talking about… you should listen to others before you open your big mouth. And, yep, I think that’s true. But, what I’m referring to here is listening to your own thoughts before you speak.
Weird, right?
Just give this a try. When you go to speak during a conversation, wait (and this is just the smallest split second. Our brains process FAST.), then go ahead and speak.
What I’ve found is that – first: my brain can think about this stuff really fast! To the point that others don’t notice at all. And second: there’s a high percentage of times that I either change what I decide to say, or don’t say anything at all.
We have this amazing, huge, thinking machine on our shoulders, let’s let it work.

Have a great rest of your weekend, and get outside to do something fun!
Cheers!
