Hi!
Happy Friday from Powder Mounting Utah! Here’s what I’ve found interesting, fun, or thought provoking this week.
My latest podcast –
AAJ 147: How to live your life now
This is kinda like a follow up podcast to the DO IT NOW show that I did with serial entrepreneur Eric Malzone, but where I talk more about “how” you can escape your 9-5 job and do more of what you want.
Podcast that I’m listening to –
Insider Secrets to Multi-Day Fasting on the Ben Greenfield Fitness Podcast
There are some amazing takeaways in this podcast! Everything from fasting (obviously) to dietary timing (which is super interesting!).
What I’m reading –
Strengths Finder 2.0 by Tom Rath
The thought process behind this book is that we spend too much time trying to improve our weaknesses rather than continuing to improve what we are good at, and crushing work, life, etc.
The book comes with a 30 minute test that you take to figure out what your strength are, and then it goes on to tell you how to use your strength.
My most popular post on Instagram –
Looking down on Lake Tahoe from Maggie’s Peak
This might be one of my favorite (personal) pictures of all time. It embodies success, achievement, and living your life now.
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
Leave it better than you found it
I’ve been doing a lot of trail running and hiking while living @TheVantasticLife, and it’s common to see signs at trailheads saying “leave the trail better than you found it”. Well, I was thinking… why not apply this idea to as much as we can…?
Here’s what I’ve been doing lately. First, I like things to be nice. Look nice. Feel nice. Be nice. And it doesn’t even have to be mine, or something that I own. So, this is a fun example… what I’ve been doing is, if I go into a bathroom (think Starbucks) and see the toilet paper or paper towels on the ground, I just pick it up so the bathroom looks nice. Or if I’m walking along the street and there’s some garbage (if I have the ability), I pick it up and throw it away at the next garbage can I see.
I would love it if you tried doing this! We can make the world cleaner, and it will feel like a better place to live.

Whoa, that was kind of a long one this week, but I had a good time with it 🙂 and I hope you did as well. If you need anything just let me know.
