After yesterday’s Get Better Project workout I’m lucky that I can move my arms enough to type. I know that sounds unbelievable, but, yes, it was that good!
Also, I’m doing my best to take this week and next week away from working. Just an FYI. With the exception of these emails, of course.
Anyway, here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week.

Shoes I’m loving for fitnessing –
You might not believe this, but I haven’t bought a new pair of fitness shoes for over 3 years. I’ve had a pair of Nike Metcon Free’s that have pretty much kept their original condition (even in van life) since I bought them, like over 5 years ago. Great shoes!
But something about going to the CrossFit Games and seeing all of the new fancy shoes motivated me to dive in and become a consumer again. And that led me to purchasing the Nike Metcon 7’s. Truth be told, I actually bought a pair of these and a pair of the Reebok Nano X1’s (which are the rival shoe of the Mecon’s in the fitness world).
Without getting into all of the specifics (I’m going to do a video on those after this work break), these shoes fit so well that I don’t really need to tie the laces to perform most fitness activities. That’s when I know my shoes rock!
GREAT purchase –
25 pound bag of Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Muesli – This is like a dog food bag of muesli, it’s awesome! Just toss a measuring device in the bag and you’re good to go for months of high quality carb consuming!
All-Time most viewed workout of the week –
This workout celebrates the life of Karen Arnold and is about as good a celebration of life that I can think of to be our most viewed (which I hope means most completed) workout of the week at the Get Better Project!
Click here to do the workout, celebrate Karen, and get one day fitter!

That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything at all… I’ll be working on my mountain bike, but still hit me up ;-)!
Cheers!
