This post is coming to you from somewhere in the trees of British Columbia.
Currently we are on our LONG drive back to Seattle.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week.

My latest podcast –
AAJ 213: Trade your workouts for play time; it’s all in your head
I’m constantly trying to figure out different ways of helping people understand how easy working out can be.
If you are struggling (or know someone who is) take a listen or pass it along.
What I’m listening to –
Becoming by Michelle Obama
This is such a well written book, and the story (from her perspective) about how her husband was elected president is fascinating!
My top post on social –
Bear traffic in Denali National Park… crushed it this week!
This is the video of the bears walking in-front of our Denali National Park bus and then bounding up the hill. It’s a good one!
What I’m pondering –
We were recently listening to an interview with presidential candidate Andrew Yang (and reading Michelle Obama’s book…) and thinking about how people can still judge others based on the color of their skin. And wondering how much harder someone like Andrew Yang will have to work to become president simply because he’s Asian.
I’m just trying to comprehend that, and I can’t get it.
Anyway, maybe this rubs some of you the wrong way, and that’s cool with me.

That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything at all let me know. I’m off to drive for 7 hours, and maybe do a few rest stop workouts along the way.
Cheers!
Joe
