Hi,
This should be the last email that comes to you from a driveway for a while. Next week we are starting our slow journey toward Flagstaff Arizona (and the Grand Canyon).
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week.

What I’m reading –
The whole Mitch Rapp book series – amazon
A few weeks ago I shared that I was enjoying the American Assassin book (with character Mitch Rapp), and now I’m onto the third book in the series called Transfer of Power. I guess I was need of a good story.
It’s funny how we go through cycles in our lives. Sometimes I can consume educational info like water, but other times it’s like trying to eat rocks. 🙂
My top post on social –
Apparently everyone loves pretty lakes – Instagram
What are your thoughts on sharing the location of the pretty places that you go to? I’m talking about exact locations on social.
With all that I’ve been reading about people overpopulating places that used to be hidden getaways, I’m leaning towards being against it. Not that everyone would do a hard 9 mile (one way) uphill hike to find a lake like this, but it’s still increasing the numbers.
When we hiked out on Saturday afternoon the 20-30 car parking lot was full, and there was another 40-50 cars parked on the dirt road next to the parking lot.
Purchase I’m enjoying –
Sea to Summit Head Net – REI
I’ve been hiking and backpacking for YEARS and only just bought one of these. And let me tell you… they are AMAZING if you are anywhere with bugs. They are non-intrusive and you hardly notice that you have them on.
I would call this a must buy if you hike/backpack or even think you might be in a buggy place in the next year. $11 well spent!
What you are –
WESOME!!!! Believe it, be it, live it!

That’s what I have for you this week. Just a few things and I’m out! If you need anything at all… just hit reply!
Cheers!
