I’m actually writing this email from outside of the lodge at Jackson Hole Resort on an 11” powder day 🙂 (and it’s still dumping). We stopped snowboarding so I could do a quick Zoom call for Seattle Investors Club, and thought I’d write to you as well.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

My latest podcast –
AAJ 269: My 7 favorite movements that you can do (almost anywhere)
I shot this whole video in a Twin Falls Idaho park (across from the library). I only got a few weird looks. 😉 It’s a fun video podcast, let me know what you think.
Workout of the week –
Snatches for the WIN by the Get Better Project
This is a super fun workout that really rocks your whole body. Which means… GAINZ!!! Those are my favorite! Well, really, all workouts should get you gains, but this is a workout that I think is especially fun. And I hope you enjoy it as well.
Best food I ate all week –
EVEN MO’ BETTAH BBQ PORK Pizza from Hand Fire Pizza
I know, I know this is not the type of healthy thing that I usually write about but Jackson Hole has some of the best (non-healthy) food we’ve found across the county (and coffee). And after a long hike, trail run, ski day, or any of the other insanely fun activities you can do in Jackson, this pizza is worth devouring!
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
There’s never bad weather, just bad gear
Obviously this doesn’t work for all situations, but it absolutely does make sense for most scenarios that people get themselves into. Or avoid because of the weather conditions.
For example, not continuing a running routine because it’s cold and snowing or raining outside. Or not working out in the winter because your garage workout area is cold. Or not going skiing or snowboarding because you get cold and wet.
Well, I’ve definitely been on both sides of this conversation, and now that I have a lot of the right gear for most of the activities that I like to do, there’s really no reason to not continue activities. The gear works so well these days!
So, if you’ve ever felt that you cannot do something because of the weather… try to figure out what the right gear is that will keep you moving.

That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything at all please let me know. We’ll be headed to CO soon!
Cheers!
