This post is coming to you from Page Arizona. Page surprisingly has the worst internet speeds of any developed area that we’ve been in for years! Even the 5G is slow here in Page.
Here’s what I’ve found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

Video of the week –
Mountain biking the wind tunnel at Peavine Mountain in Reno! Technically we biked the Halo trail that felt like a wind tunnel!
Super pretty! Super windy!
Best bike ride of the year (so far) –
On Monday we rode our mountain bikes on top of the Guacamole Mesa near Zion National Park, and it was EPIC!!! The views and technical features were outstanding!
If you’re an avid mountain biker you should absolutely put this trail system on your short list!
Stay tuned for the full YouTube video coming in a few weeks. Once I can find enough internet to free up video space on all my devices. 🙂
What I’m reading –
Artemis by Andy Weir – Which is a fiction novel that talks about people living on the moon, and all of the challenges that entails. There is also a dramatic story line that goes along with living on the moon that keeps you wanting more.
This is a fun read that I’ve been listening to on Audible.
Race day is coming up –
On Saturday Emily and I are competing in the 12 Hours of Mesa Verde mountain bike race as a team. For 12 hours we will switch back and forth on 16+ mile single track loops around the Phil’s World trail system.
If you’d like to follow along, we will be posting regular updates to our The Vantastic Life Instagram stories/reels!

That’s what I have for you this week. We are going to head to the Page library to see if we can find some faster internet. If you need any help with workouts or nutrition… hit me up! I love talking about that stuff!
Cheers!
