Today, this email is coming to you from rainy Enumclaw WA. Which means we’ve had some wet workouts. The cold, wet workouts really help me appreciate the nice, sunny weather :-).

AAJ 246: The sky is falling, or is it…
If you need some ways (that I’ve observed) to take the good out of our stay at home order… here are a few things that have really stood out for me. And that I hope stick around after we go back to normal life.
What I’m snacking on –
Barnana: Plantain Chips
These are their organic ridge cut plantain chips with Himalayan sea salt, that are cooked in coconut oil.
They have just 3 ingredients, are all organic, and are delicious! And they have them at (some) Costco’s (but here’s the Amazon link so you don’t have to see anyone).
What I’m drinking –
Coffee from the Toddy Cold Brew System (Amazon)
#HouseLife definitely has some advantages over #VanLife. One of those is having the ability to store larger items like the Toddy Cold Brew System, which makes some damn good cold brew coffee!
I mean, we could bring the Toddy in the van, but it’s about the size of one of my 50 pound dumbbells, and I’m picking the dumbbell and buying cold brew at Starbucks every time ;-).
But, another thing you should know is… we used this coffee (to make the cold brew) that we found in Jackson Hole (and loved) called The El Gato Blend by the Intelligentsia coffee company. It has this really nice smokey, nutty flavory. #SmokeNutCoffee
Parting thought/focus exercise –
I’m stealing this from a tweet that I saw this morning (yes, I use twitter). The tweet asked… what’s one positive thing that you’ve enjoyed about all this staying at-home?
I’d love to hear your answer if you want to email it to me. It could even be more than one thing 🙂
My one thing is… all of this time that I have to workout and work on fun projects! When you aren’t driving places you gain SO MUCH more free time. Once we are free to roam again, I’m going to think hard about if driving places for small tasks is worth it…
