Hi!
This email is coming to you from Rome in Italy, and what a week it has been! Here’s what I’ve found interesting, fun, or noteworthy.

My latest podcast –
AAJ 196: Stay Fit While Traveling. And still eating all of the food (without going to the gym).
As I’m traveling through Italy, eating pizza almost everyday, and seeing my abs get more defined as the days pass, I thought it was a good time to talk about this. 🙂
What I’m eating –
You guessed it… PIZZA!!! If you didn’t know… pizza is my favorite food. Nothing (except pretzel rolls and Anna’s rolls) comes close!
And it’s always been a dream of mine to eat my way through Italy.
So far, I’ve eaten 6 pizzas, and 5 of them were the best I’ve ever eaten! The ingredients just taste fresher than anything that I’ve had in the states (and I’ve sampled quite a few in the states).
And here’s the kicker, they don’t make you feel like you can’t move afterward. In fact, I’ve run or hiked right after eating over half of these without discomfort.
If you would like to see what ALL of these pizzas look like…
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
Cities vs. Small Towns
I might be an outlier here, and if so, let me know. But I’m trying to figure out why people want to live in big cities…
Here’s the thing (and what I’ve noticed):
– People in small towns are nicer
– It’s easier to get fresh foods in small towns
– Things tend to cost less in small towns (if it’s a vacation spot this probably isn’t true)
– It’s easier to get a good nights sleep in small towns
– I generally feel far less stress when in less populated areas (for myself and the people around)
To me these things are really interesting, and on the van trip, and on this current trip to Italy, I’ve bounced between Cities and Small Towns, so I’m getting a first hand experience.
Anyway, there’s my pondering… let me know if you have any thoughts.
Top post on social –
By a VERY slim margin, the winner is… Looks like a Disney Ride, The Blue Grotto! If you haven’t seen this one yet, it’s worth a look.
