Hi!
This morning in Seattle we’ve had a windy ride. The wind actually woke me up it was blowing so hard. Fortunately I don’t see any trees down, but wowza!
Anyway, onward, and upward! Here’s a list of the fun/interesting things that I’ve come across, or been thinking about this week. Enjoy!
What I’ve been thinking about – I’ve been thinking a lot about how to increase lunge capacity for the sole intention of improving cardiovascular fitness. I kind of began doing this unintentionally when I started following the Wim Hof Method, and downloaded their app. I would say this app will give you an easy introduction to improving your cardiovascular system through breath training, and some cold exposure. This is a really cool journey that I plan to continue, and will share what I find with you.
What I’m snacking on – Trader Joe’s Pumpkin Seeds. These are a great source of fat and protein, and I think they are very tasty.
My favorite person to learn muscle ups from – Nick Sorrel @nicksorrel on Instagram. One of the best ways to learn movement is to find a great example, and study them. With Instagram we can follow select people, and watch them move all the time. Nick has changed the way that I do muscle ups for the better.
Book that I’m excited to get started – Unshakable by Tony Robbins
My latest podcast – There no such thing as a healthy food
My most popular post on Instagram – In the pain cave during CrossFit Open workout 17.2. Ouch, that one hurt!

If you have any questions about any of this stuff hit me up on Twitter at @joe_bauer, or just respond to this email. This week I’ve had the biggest number of people join my list in years, but I’m still able to handle the number of email responses I’m getting ;-).
