This email is coming to you from the Cumberland BC Campground about 20 feet from Comox Lake!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Amazing bike I tested –
Forbidden Druid v2 – You cannot go wrong with this bike!
If you are in the market for an GREAT all-around bike that will do everything from cross country to enduro riding very well due to it’s bottomless feeling (high pivot) rear suspension, and has the support of an awesome small company with a racing mindset… checkout the Forbidden Druid v2.
A lot of bike companies claim that their rear suspension feels bottomless, but this is the best of ever experienced!
We spent 20 miles on this bike last Saturday and (Emily and I) both had nothing but good things to say about it.
I have a full review video hitting our channel soon!
And it comes in some really great colors! 😉
NEW YouTube Video from Chile –
Mountain Biking with 800 Year Old Monkey Puzzle Trees in Icalma Chile
This is part 2 of our mountain biking in Icalma Chile.
This views and riding in this part of the world are AMAZING!!! Not that we saw many of the views while riding down the scary single track trails, but… when you watch the video you can see them :-).
My lunch time routine –
Last week I shared my Morning Routine and I think it’s great to show people exactly what has been working for me for years so you can decide if you want to steal any of it for your own routine.
About 2 hours after breakfast…
- 10 Perfect Aminos (by BodyHealth.com)
- 5 grams of creatine (Blonyx HMB+ Creatine is my favorite)
- Finish second 32 ounce water bottle for the day
30 mins later…
- Workout (@GetBettrProject)
Post workout…
- 2 pieces of fruit – usually 2 bananas, or lately, 2 bananas and a golden kiwi!
30-60 mins later…
- Sandwich with sourdough bread (minimal ingredients), turkey/ham (no preservatives), cheese (grass fed), Primal Kitchen mayo, organic greens.
Let me know if you have any questions about how any of this could be implemented into your own routine.

That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything… let me know!
Cheers!
