RPM Speed Rope
$52.95

This is an advanced speed rope that you personally cut to the length that you prefer. This is the rope used by most of our affiliate team athletes at StoneWay CrossFit. If you are at StoneWay and need help adjusting one of these ropes ask one of the coaches or athletes for help. The advantage is that once you get the feel for this rope, it’s not unheard of to be able to do over 100 double unders at a time.
The disadvantage of this rope is that you will definitely need to replace the cable from time to time. But the cables are only $7 each, so it’s not a lot, and sometimes you won’t have to replace one for a year or more.
SR-1 Rouge Bearing Speed Rope

This is a good intermediate jump rope, and even some advanced athletes still like to use this rope. It will give you a little more “feel” than the RPM ropes, and is a more forgiving against cable breakage.
This is a good rope if you’re just getting used to doing double unders, and you don’t want to spend the money on an RPM rope.
This was the rope that I started with, and it became my travel rope once I upgraded to an RPM rope.

This is a rope that’s very affordable, and will do the job. If you’re just looking for something to get by that will work fairly well, this is a very affordable choice. This is also great for a travel rope.
