Mom’s Granola Recipe
This granola recipe is one of my favorite healthy things to eat, hands down!
I’m usually eating (Mom’s granola recipe) at the end of the day when I feel like I need more food. You know those days when you workout really hard, and you just can’t seem to satisfy your hunger? And I usually pour some organic whole milk over the top of it.
So good! I absolutely LOVE cereal, and this is the best of the best when it comes to cereal!
Here’s all you need to know to make the granola recipe:
Mix all ingredients together then toss onto a cookie sheet to bake.
Ingredients
6 cups of oatmeal
2 cups coconut
1 ½ cup sliced almonds
1 ½ cup sunflower seeds
Pumpkin seeds/dried blueberries
1 cup oat bran
1 bag dried blueberries from Trader Joe’s
Sauce
1 cup honey
½ cup oil (this is the lowest amount of oil to still get the good taste)
½ cup water
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
Toss all together. Spread out on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350? for 30 minutes, tossing every 10 minutes.
You can add dried fruit/blueberries after cooling. If you add them before they will get rock hard. Like break your teeth rock hard!
You can actually add between 2-6 cups of anything. I sometimes add 2 cups of vanilla protein powder, cut the honey in half to up the protein, and lower the sugar.
