Today I’m reviewing Penguin CBD Oil and Cream. Which (full disclosure) was sent to me to review. But I ONLY review things that I think work and are beneficial for my readers.
At this point most of us have heard the benefits of CBD oil, and there are many other benefits that are currently being researched.
I have personally been taking CBD oil in some capacity for around 5 years (on and off). And I could feel the benefits in the first month of use.
The benefits that I’ve noticed when taking Penguin CBD oils are…
- Deeper sleep
- Easier time falling asleep
- Feeling relaxed a few hours after taking
- Less nagging joint pain
Common misbeliefs of CBD oil that I’ve noticed…
For some reason people will think that CBD isn’t doing anything for them because it doesn’t feel like someone hitting you over the head with a hammer (like most drugs these days).
When taking CBD it can take a few hours before you will feel anything. And that’s after you’ve figured out how much CBD you need to be taking to be effective for you.
I’ve also noticed that I won’t be able to tell any differences when taking CBD for 3-4 weeks. Then something kicks in and it becomes much more effective (or noticeably effective) for me. It’s like I need to fill up my CBD cup for a few weeks before I start feeling it.
Who is CBD good for?
- I recommend CBD oil to most people.
- If you have any trouble sleeping, it’s a must! Or if you would like to sleep better. Definitely!
- If you have achy joints, give it a try for a few months. You might not notice that it’s working until you stop taking it.
- If you commonly feel anxiety about things/life, it would be great to try. I like taking it before flying, because it’s not my favorite, and it makes me feel more relaxed.
- If you’re an athlete that’s causing your body lots of inflammation, it’s probably a must take.
***There are a boatload of other benefits that are currently being studied. If you are interested (or suffering from a symptom that I didn’t mention), try googling CBD benefits and going down the rabbit hole of potential CBD benefits.
What sets Penguin CBD apart…
After trying close to 10 different brands of CBD, it’s interesting to feel the differences of different brands.
This is a vastly unregulated industry, so it’s possible for some brands to be better than others.
The first thing you’ll notice with Penguin CBD Oil is the taste. I have the lemon flavor, and it’s good. Not like candy good, but it’s tastes good. It’s something that I look forward to taking. And if you have tried non-flavored CBD oil, then you know it has the taste of a health food store. That’s the best way I can describe it.
The other difference that was clear to me when taking Penguin CBD was about 3 hours after taking it I started to really feel relaxed and super calm. I loved this because I like taking the CBD oil about 4 hours before bed, and this really gets me in the mood for some sleep.
I’ve also loved using the Penguin CBD Cream on my achy achilles tendons. I had forgotten how much pain I was dealing with until trying the CBD cream on my lower legs after long runs or bike rides. And my pain had definitely decreased.
Should you try Penguin CBD….
If you are looking for a CBD oil that doesn’t taste like the health food store… that is effective at making you feel relaxed and sleeping deeper… It’s definitely worth trying Penguin CBD for a few months.
How you should take it…
Start with 25mg per day and slowly up your dose until you feel something. From my studies, people usually feel CBD kicking in between 25-100mg per day.
I also like the idea of cycling supplements and CBD is no different. I like taking it for 2-3 months, then taking a month off and starting up again.
What CBD product should you try…
Start with the oil, then add the cream if you have any area specific areas that could use help. I really like using the CBD cream on my achy Achilles tendons after long runs, and on sore muscles. When I’m consistently using both the oil and cream on my Achilles I have much less pain.
