If you’re into heath and fitness, or eaten Indian food… you’ve definitely tried coconut oil.
Personally I’ve been buying coconut oil for years. Ever since I heard about how good it was for you I’ve been using it. I started with using coconut oil for cooking. Coconut oil can be used at a higher temp than other cooking oils so you don’t have to worry about it burning.
The more that I used coconut oil in my cooking the more I really liked how it tasted and made me feel. In fact, my morning eggs just weren’t the same without a spoonful of coconut oil to cook them in. The creamy flavor really enhanced the tasted of the scrambled eggs.
As the years went by more and more research about coconut oil was hitting the main stream, and it was easy to see that coconut oil was good for more than just cooking with… I started using it to clean my teeth, which is a process called Oil Pulling. Where you put a spoonful of coconut oil in your mouth, and vigorously swish it around for about 20 minutes. It leaves your teeth feeling very nice and clean.
From there I was told that I should try using the coconut oil on my skin. At first I was a little skeptical about that one. My skin was in pretty good shape, and I didn’t want it to feel oily.
But when the winter months rolled around, and my skin dried out a bit I took a look at the skin lotions that we had around the house and realized they were full of all kinds of weird ingredients that I’d never heard of.
This sparked my interest towards coconut oil again. In my research of coconut oil as a skin lotion I found that it has antibacterial properties that can help with everything from acne to skin fungi. So of course, I tried slapping it on my skin. And guess what I found out… It really worked great! My dry skin went away, and not only that, but my skin started looking better than ever. I was very surprised to say the least.
Now I have a jar of coconut oil in my shower that I apply right before I hop out.
Now you might as if all coconut oils are created equal…
At first I would have answered… sure, as long as they are organic. But my good friend Tyson pointed out a few key things to me about the differences in most coconut oils, and pointed out that a brand called Zuddha is far better than the rest.
What does Zuddha do different…?
- Zuddha is a Raw coconut oil which means it is never heated above it’s natural temperature of 113 degrees F.
- Zuddha coconuts are all smelled to insure that you aren’t eating rancid coconuts.
- Zuddha never ever uses any cleaning chemicals on their coconuts. They are cleaned in water.
- All Zuddha coconuts are grown for 10 months and aged for 1 month before processing into coconut oil.
This all results in a superior organic coconut oil. And when I first tasted Zuddha coconut oil it was very clear.
Tyson asked me to do a random taste test. He had two kinds of organic unmarked coconut oil, and a spoon. Then he said to dig in. After trying them both, one of them was a clear winner.
The first had a strong coconut flavor, and a yellowish color. It didn’t taste bad, but had a strange aftertaste, and gave me a weird feeling that I can’t explain.
Then the second had less coconut flavor, was very white colored, and for some unknown reason made me feel good when I ate it. It was very creamy and smooth. This was the Zuddha coconut oil.
Ever since that day that Tyson had me try the Zuddha coconut oil I’ve been on him to get me more of it, and now it’s finally possible.
In an effort to get the best possible coconut oil that I’ve ever had in your hands Zuddha is running an Indiegogo campaign to push the business forward.
