This is my one month pre-workout supplement 1.M.R. review.
I had read (and watched) some positive reviews on the pre-workout supplement 1.M.R. which got me interested in giving it a try. If you’ve read this blog at all you know that I’ve done quite a few supplement reviews, but I won’t waste my time reviewing anything that I wouldn’t recommend you take.
1 M.R. worked great right off the bat like most pre-workout supplements do, but the crazy thing about 1 M.R. is they don’t tell you to increase you dosage as you go along. It’s one scoop the whole time, and only on workout days. My initial response to this would be that it probably won’t be as effective as your body gets used to it, but actually I haven’t noticed much of any drop off at the end of my month long test.
1.M.R. Review Results
So now that I’ve told you about how it works well without having to increase your dosage, which is great because you won’t be using it faster and faster (costing you more money), let’s get into results. With any product that I’m testing it’s all about the performance results! If you’ve trained hard at CrossFit, and eaten a solid diet (like the Whole30 Paleo program) then you’re already as lean as you want, and you’re just looking for that extra edge. I want to start by saying that around the same time that I started taking 1.M.R. I also started the competition programing from CrossFit Invictus which I am certain had an impact on the gains that I’ve had in the last month. Just wanted to make sure that I was giving you full disclosure. You can also get your programing from 1 M.R. (it actually stands for 1 More Rep):
* Back squats 385 (from 375)
* Front squats 315 (from 300)
* Overhead squats 225 (from 215)
* Squat cleans 245×2 (from 225×1
* Squat snatch 190 (from 165)
* Deadlift 415×3 (from 415×1)
* Bench 290 (from 285)
* Max pull ups 39 (from 31)
* “Diane” 4:32 (from 6:25)
I know this is completely crazy, but I speak the truth! REMEMBER!!!!! I train extremely hard, and nothing can replace working hard and a rock solid diet!!!! That being said I HIGHLY recommend 1 M.R. and CrossFit Invictus programing
