This email is coming to you from that 67 degree day that feels oh so good on the skin!
But for real, it feels like spring hit Colorado in one day.
AND, guess what? We finally got our windshield replaced. Hurray!!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Allergies I didn’t know I had –
I’ve been having this on and off post nasal drip and irritated throat for almost a year. I even took antibiotics based on a teledoc recommendation. Thumbs down!
The interesting thing is that the symptoms went away when I went to Mexico, and again when I went to Chile/Colombia. So, it started to seem logical that it could be something I was eating locally.
If you know me… you know that I’ve done lots of blood testing to figure out what I should be eating to optimized my health and performance (InsideTracker). Which means I’ve been mostly eating the same things for years.
After doing some research I learned that Everlywell sells a Comprehensive at home blood based Food Sensitivity test that tests 204 foods that are commonly found in our diets.
And guess what… I found out that I’m moderately reactive to Brazil nuts, and mildly reactive to pine nuts, rapeseed (canola oil), and vanilla.
I’ve eaten Brazil nuts at least 5 days a week for many years, and restaurants put garbage canola oil in everything!
After two weeks of avoiding these foods I’ve already seen symptoms almost completely go away.
Pretty neat huh?!
It’s $299 for the test that I did, and your HSA can pay for it. And they are always running discounts.
I personally feel like everyone should have a comprehensive food sensitivity test at multiple times during their life to see if there’s anything that is causing them extra inflammation that they don’t want.
Best meal I ate this week –
The Beet Street Salad from Hot Tomato Pizza
You can easily make this one at home… Mixed greens, beets, walnuts, dried cherries, goat cheese, and balsamic dressing.
So simple, so delicious!
Maybe toss some chicken breast in there…
New YouTube Video –
Thrillium is the FASTEST (non bike park) Trail We’ve Ridden in WA State!!
The trail speed on this trail is insane!! So much so that I cased almost all of the jumps and was able to make a full video with just my cases.

That’s what I have for you this week. I hope the weather is as good where you are as it is where we are!
Cheers!
