This email is coming to you from Snoqualmie Pass, where we will be exploring the bike park for the first time today. We are stoked!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Berry season is the BEST –
If you haven’t been eating all of the fresh berries that you can… I feel sorry for you. It’s been an amazing berry season in the PNW!!!
Eating seasonly is a great way to cycle nutrients into your body.
We all love routines because routines are easy, but our bodies are adaptive. Do exercises that you aren’t used to and the body adapts faster. Eat HIGH QUALITY foods the body isn’t used to and it will also adapt faster. Think more energy, more muscle, and more fat burn.
Now, in this day and age, we can get almost whatever we want whenever we want it, and that’s not a bad thing. I eat blueberries almost every single day because I know they make me feel good. BUT, the effect of blueberries on my body would be more impactful if I only ate them when they were in season.
Just a little food for your thoughts! 😉
Workout of the week –
For total reps:
2 mins on – 2 mins rest
4 mins on – 4 mins rest
6 mins on – 6 mins rest
8 mins on…
8 strict/pike handstand push-ups
16 pull-ups or DB bent over rows
32 DB/KB goblet squats
64 double unders or 4-6” step jumps
*Start back at the top each new set.
If you weight/scale this correctly, you’ll be doing it (mostly) unbroken, and it will feel like you’ve accomplished a lot!
*Warm up and do all the smart things if you decide to try this one.
NEW VIDEO: Colombia DAY 3 –
STEEPER MTB Trails than Anything in the US! Algeria Trail – Salento Colombia MTB – Day 3
This ride had some trails that were so steep that you looked ahead to see where you might be able to slow down. Fun but very scary!
We also had some of the most stunning scenery of the whole trip (near the end)! Enjoy!

That’s what I have for you this week. Let me know if you try the workout!
Cheers!
