Wake to an alarm that you will usually not need
If you can pull this off it will be telling you that you’re getting all the sleep you need. The alarm is just a backup.
To make this work you need to be going to bed at the proper time to get the amount of sleep your body/mind needs to recover.
Drink 24-32 ounces of water first thing
This will give you some fresh lubricant for the body. Which will usually get the poops coming, and get you nice and hydrated for the morning!
It will also get you started on the right foot when being a smart person and shooting for .5-.75 ounces of water per ideal pound of body weight per day.
25 burpees – 2 mins of planks – 20 min jog/brisk walk
This won’t fill in for your whole workout of the day, but it will help you to feel amazing. It will make you body and mind feel alive like no cup of coffee every will.
You can sub this for your whole workout in the morning, and that’s totally cool!
If you’re a caffeinator (like I am) this is when you’d want to have your BLACK coffee or tea. Nothing in your coffee please. Unless you’re going for a keto bulletproof thing, OR jazzing up for some kind of competition or heavy workout day. If that’s the case, I’ll probably put some protein powder in my coffee to get the aminos flowing. And this would ONLY happen 30 mins after having my PerfectAminos.
Get to work on your most important task for the day
At this point your calendar should have the most important task of the day coming FIRST! When you are the most jacked up and feeling amazing, tackle that hardest, most important task!
Ride the wave of productivity
This will set you up for a very productive morning and day to come! To keep it going… run with intermittent fasting until about 12pm or 1pm (for an 8 hour eating window), and eat low carbs until 1-2 hours before your workout. This will keep your brain feeling poised for action!
Add some high quality carbs 1-2 hours before your workout, and then pour the rest of your carbs in (again high quality) after you’ve worked out.
