Emily’s Granola Recipe
This (Emily’s Granola) is one of the best things that I eat all year! It’s full of amazing ingredients and tastes better than any store bought granola.
If you’re going to make this… make a TON of it! It will save for a long time. Although you’ll probably end up eating even a large batch very quickly! 🙂
Ingredients
6 cups of oatmeal
1 package of Trader Joe’s pecan pieces
1 package of Trader Joe’s sliced almond
1 cup oat bran
OPTIONAL: 1 package of Trader Joe’s pumpkin seeds
1 bag dried blueberries from Trader Joe’s – add after baking other ingredients
Sauce
1/2 cup honey
½ cup coconut oil
½ cup water
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp sea salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1 tablespoon cinnamon
Directions
Preheat oven to 375
Mix dry ingredients together in large mixing bowl
Mix sauce ingredients in separate bowl
Stir in sauce to dry ingredients
Spread thin on baking sheets, bake for 10 mins, then stir, bake for another 8, or until oats are lightly browned!
