This email is coming to you from a lonely campground along the Colorado River. We are headed up to Steamboat Springs to freeze our butts off for Feb. We’ll see if this was a good choice or if we should have stayed in the warm…
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
What I’m watching –
Carlos – The Carlos Santana documentary
This is one of those music documentaries that give you chills at points when you watch it.
Carlos Santana relentlessly drove for his goals! It’s pretty awesome that we can get a glimpse into how he has lived his life.
I definitely was inspired and learned some cool things from watching this!
Little results over time –
Over the last week Emily and I have re-ridden several mountain bike trails that we come back to every 1-2 years.
And it was SO FREAKING AWESOME to see how much we’ve improved on our bikes!!!
What you work on consistently will improve! Sometimes you can’t see the results on a regular basis, but they are there. They are happening! And when you stack up weeks, months, and years of work the results can be astronomical!!
This is one of my favorite things about life! And I really, really, really hope that you are consistently putting passionate work into a few things in your life!
Our newest YouTube video –
SERIOUS SKETCH!! We Hired a Pro Mountain Bike Guide/Coach to Help Us!
One of the BEST things you can do to improve your life is hiring a Guide/Coach. This is true in all areas of life that you want to improve!
And this proved to be one of the BEST days we had in Squamish. We conquered crazy hard lines/trails that we wouldn’t have tried without a professional coach teaching us how to ride them.
