This email is coming to you from a cool little (free) campsite along a river in Sandy OR. We keep finding these awesome hidden spots.
The only downside is that the forest is dense in these parts and there is no way the StarLink is going to work, so we’re rocking a weak cell signal.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Van expo’s are RAD –
If you ever have the ambition of building (or getting) a van, RV, or small house… 😉 going to your local van expo is worth your time and money.
You can look at the difference in craftsmanship from one builder to another (it’s a very big difference), and get ideas for your project.
This definitely helps you find things that you didn’t even know you needed/wanted. 🙂
People are very creative! Find the info here.
Our latest van life videos –
We are getting deeper into Vancouver Island, and have racked up a few days in Cumberland.
If you are into mountain biking and haven’t been to Cumberland… It’s time that you planned a trip!
Cumberland is a very small town that is ALL about mountain bikes.
The trails are awesome, the people are awesome, and you’ll even see people riding their bikes to lunch and NOT locking them up. What the what?!
It’s just like how the world should be!

Customer service shoutout –
Pine Mountain Sports in Bend Oregon
These guys are the gold standard for bike shop (or anywhere) customer service. And that’s saying a lot with all of the great bike shops that we go to.
They are helpful but not pushy. Knowledgeable but only if you ask. And overall, just super nice. Like everyone in the shop is a nice person.
If you run any customer facing business studying Pine Mountain Sports is worth your time.
