We sure have spent a lot of time in Moab this year. And would you believe that we still haven’t ridden all of the mountain bike trails that are on our list…? It’s true! We’ll be checking the last “big” Moab ride off our list on Monday (Jackson’s).

I was drawn in by the very first sentence… “Have you ever noticed that as a whole, our society has its daily habits almost completely backwards?” BECAUSE IT’S SO TRUE!!!
Got aches and pains –
This might come off as a bit of a rant, and I don’t really mean it to be, but maybe it all plays into the idea the most people are getting things backwards (see Mr Money Mustache).
And this backwards thing is that…. We all want to have solutions to our problems be SO FAST that there’s no possible way that they can be good solutions. But for some reason, if the solution to your problem takes time and effort, it’s almost immediately dismissed. Where’s the pill I can take?
So, I get a lot of people that come to me with their muscular aches and pains, but I am not a PT, I am a performance and body comp expert. You want to Get Better at your sport or get super lean and ripped… I got you!
But being associated with movement and injuries I want to have a solution for you because I work very close to the rehab world. And I’ve worked with and found a program that works wonders (almost miracles) for people with common inflammation based issues (think knee, hip, ankle, foot, etc.).
Literally all you have to do is follow this program daily for about 30 minutes. Heck, you could even do it while consuming your favorite nightly TV show.
But I can only think of 1 person (in 6+ months) that has actually taken my advise and implemented this program. All others have continued to look for quick fixes (braces, shoes, wraps, pills…), rather than putting in the time to actually fix the issue and have long term success. Which, having done this program myself, really is like a miracle (achilles pain be gone)!
Why is this? My brain is not wired to understand this.
If you’ve messed up your body for years… why would you be able to take a pill, or new brace and have it fix the issue you’ve been causing for years? You should be stoked out of your mind that the damage that you’ve done for years can be improved in just a few weeks or months.
Anyway, I know you come here for fun, motivational stuff, but sometimes I need to give a kick in the ass! 😉 I love you all!
