This email is coming to you from one of our favorite KOA locations, Central City Colorado. The internet speed is 70 down AND 70 up! Crazy, right?! And it’s within driving distance of like 4 ski resorts on the IKON pass :-).
Fun fact, Central City is one of the first Colorado mining towns and is coined the “richest square mile on earth”. Now they just have casinos.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week.

My latest podcast –
AAJ 271: What living in a van for 3 years has taught me
Since we are coming up on our 3 year mark of living in the van, it seemed fitting to enlighten you all why we would do such a strange thing, and what I’ve learned from it. Enjoy!
Top adventure this week –
It was actually navigating the 2 feet of snow that fell on us in Winter Park while our diesel heater was on the fritz (checkout the above pic to see our parking spot).
All in all, it was a really fun experience! We did a 75 min trail run to one of our favorite Colorado pizza places (Hernando’s), and snowboarded Sat, Sun, and Mon in fresh POW (Mon was the best by far!).
Side note: we never expected there would be so many ski towns with plowed running trails in the winter. It’s been amazing!
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
Focussing on helping
There are all kinds of things that we can focus on, our minds are crazy, and a lot of times specifically trying to direct our focus can change how we feel about pretty much everything.
What I’m recommending is laser focussing on being helpful in all areas of your life. Helping others can be the key to opening up your life.
I know that you’re awesome at a few things in your life, so think about how you can help others with your awesomeness.
