What a week over here! Who would have thought that getting a van organized would take so long. Haha!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Workout of the week –
This one was such a good test that I just have to share it!
8 rounds for time of:
7 pike/strict handstand push-ups
7 double DB snatches RX 35/25’s
47 double unders or 2-4” hops
14 goblet squat jumps RX 50/35
300m run
Rest 1 min between rounds
Hit me up if you need the warm-up. You can also scale up the weights if they look low. We did 50/35’s for snatches, and 70 for the squat jumps.
This made me feel like I was breathing through a straw! 😉
No time for exercise, exercise ideas –
So you think you don’t have time for exercise. Well the person that always exercises never doesn’t have time for exercise.
Here’s what they do… They get it done where they are and don’t think twice.
- Max set of push-ups
- 5 mins of burpees
- 100 air squats
- Max plank on elbows
- Wall squat while on the phone
- Stairs while on phone or during lunch break
- Banded set of rows, curls, extensions, etc from desk
- Any combination of the above
I personally know high achievers that have done this on the regular in their office or at home for years.
It’s all about being creative and recognizing when you can do it. Then don’t think, just do it.
