What I’ve been up to…
- Lots going on since that last podcast back in February!
- I only snowboarded 28 days out of my goal 40+
- BUT my new Revel Rascal mountain bike ROCKS!!! It’s my favorite bike yet.
- We’ve ridden mountain bikes all over
- Some highlights being – Winter Park CO, Moab UT, Curt Gowdy WY, McCall ID, Bend OR, Hood River OR, and Tiger Mountain WA (to name a few).
- Checkout The Vantastic Life on YouTube to see a bunch of our riding videos!
- We ran the Leadville 26.2 trail marathon in June, which was hard but super fun.
- We bought a Rogue Fitness Echo Bike, and it is FANTASTIC!
My Current Routines/Habits that are working for a Successful Life…
Holosync Meditation – Link
- I’ve learned that although meditation for an hour a day is a lot of time… if it makes all of the rest of my day better, it’s worth the time spend.
- I feel better – mentally and physically – am much happier – am less easily irritated
- I’m currently on the 2nd level
Prolon 5 Day Fasting Mimicking Diet – Link
- We are doing this about every 6 months, and plan to continue every 6 months.
- It sharpens my motivation and focus.
- It feels like a reset for my body and mind
- My mental energy gets a boost
- My vision improves
- I usually lose 8-10 pounds, and lean up significantly.
Daily Gratitude / Journaling
- I have only missed a handful of days in the last 3 years of my daily journaling.
- This is super simple, but gets my day started off on the right foot.
- The questions are… What am I grateful for? What would make today awesome? What are my goals? What awesome happened today?
Tracking all food consumed 6-7 days a week – Link
- If you don’t know, you don’t know, when it comes to eating. I’ve been obsessing over food for 20 years, and I still can not guess my macros.
- It takes less than 5 mins a day if you are good at it.
- If I don’t pay attention to this…. I eat not enough protein and too much fat, and not enough carbs.
Red light therapy via Joovv – Link
- I use the red light on my naked body almost every day.
Obviously, doing The Get Better Project 5’ish days a week – Link
- The Get Better Project is growing
- We coached the fittest 65+ CrossFit Games female, if you didn’t hear…
- And we are continually working with and helping great people get fit from ages 22 to 72.
