Sans Bars offers a handful of flavors, but there are a few that really stand out. Here’s my personal ranking:
1. Cherry Cocoa (Limited Run) ??
This limited-run flavor is hands down my favorite. The combination of tart cherry and rich cocoa is absolutely perfect, and it gives a satisfying, dessert-like taste without any of the guilt. If you see these available, don’t wait—they sell out fast! I once bought 3 boxes when I found some at Sprouts :-D.

How I Use Sans Bars
Having an on-the-go meal replacement is a must have these days. You can’t always find high quality food to grab when you’re hungry and in a pinch. That’s when having a high quality protein bar in my bag or pocket.
Sans Meal Bars: Good, But Not Perfect
Not Organic
While I love the quality of the ingredients in these bars, one thing I wish they would improve is sourcing organic ingredients. It’s not a deal-breaker for me, but given how clean the bars already are, going organic would make them even better. That said, if you prioritize clean eating and minimal processing, these bars are still one of the best options out there.
More Protein would be better
If you ask the team at Sans Bar I’m sure they will tell you that this would mess up the taste profile or texture, but I’d still be willing to try it. Taste is secondary to fuel for me.
Let’s take a look at the Cherry Cocoa bar Macro Breakdown:
Calories: 390
Carbs: 33g – 31%
Protein: 15g – 14.4%
Fat: 25g – 53.9%
For a performance athlete we are trying to hit a Macro Percentage of around: 40% Carbs, 30% Protein, and 30% Fat. And the carbs go up for a lot of athletes. This just means that myself (and most athletes) will need to eat more protein and carbs around this Meal Bar to hit our ideal Macronutrient percentages/numbers for the day. I still think it’s the best bar on the market, but it’s not perfect.

Absolutely! If you’re looking for a protein bar that actually tastes good while being free from junk ingredients, Sans Bars are worth trying. They’re perfect for busy days, travel, workouts, or anytime you need a quick and nutritious snack.
