Hey there, it’s Joe from AllAroundJoe ?
We’re still camped out in Ashland, Oregon—waiting on a warranty replacement for my bike frame (ugh, the suspense!). But that hasn’t stopped us from having a wild week of mountain biking, trail exploring, and supplement testing.
Here’s what’s been going down…
???? The Most Fun MTB Trail I’ve Ridden in a Long Time (Ashland Loamer!)
Hidden in the loamy green hills of Ashland lies a trail so steep it’ll make your brakes beg for mercy. I don’t even know the name of it—it’s not listed on any MTB apps—but it was easily one of the most sustained steep trails I’ve ever ridden. And it was oh-so-good.
If you’re into steep and loamy mountain bike trails, and you’re planning to ride in the area, hit me up! I’ll tell you where to find this beauty, and even give you a warm-up trail to see if you’re ready for the main event. ?
? NEW VIDEO: Our Full Madeira Mountain Biking Adventure (Compilation Style)
You asked, and we delivered!
We just dropped a full-length compilation of our Madeira MTB adventure on YouTube. It includes all the best moments, from sketchy cliffside lines to tropical jungle descents—plus a custom intro that I made just for this version.
If you missed a day (or want to re-watch the whole ride in one go), this is the video to catch:

? Recovery Test: Why I’m Back on Unbroken RTR
I recently re-tested Unbroken RTR against BodyHealth Perfect Aminos, tracking everything with my Whoop recovery metrics. The results?
? Higher average recovery
? Better sleep quality
? Increased HRV
? More strain handled overall
I’ll be honest—I only cycle back to Perfect Aminos once in a while because they’re cheaper with an industry discount. But in terms of pure results, Unbroken RTR takes the win. If you’re serious about optimizing recovery, this stuff is worth a look. Read full review here!
