Sending you some good vibes from Telluride, Colorado—seriously one of the most stunning places we’ve ever been! The leaves are literally glowing right now!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
What I’m reading –
Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol S. Dweck, Ph.D.
This book dives into some really eye-opening ideas about how our intelligence isn’t set in stone (even though so much of our world makes it seem like it is). Turns out, we can actually get smarter—like most things, it’s something we can work on.
It makes so much sense, right?
I definitely recommend giving this one a read!
What we ARE NOT eating –
Protein bars.
We’ve been on the hunt for good protein bars for years, and honestly, I’m sad to report that we haven’t found one worth recommending lately. In the past, I’ve endorsed a few, but the more I learn about ingredients and nutrition, the harder it is to find a bar that stacks up.
At this point, I can’t recommend any protein bars over a solid protein shake (which tend to have cleaner ingredients) or, even better, whole foods.
But hey, if you know of a bar that’s packed with high-quality protein, low-glycemic carbs, healthy fats, and free of seed oils, vegetable oils, and artificial sweeteners—hit me up!
NEW YouTube video –
Just dropped our review of the Forbidden Druid v2, filmed in the Cumberland Forest.
It’s a bike review, but also a blast to watch us hit some gnarly black and double black trails, complete with big drops, steep sections, and some pretty sweet gap jumps!
Plus, you might notice some of the tips I’ve picked up from my YouTube coaching. 😉
Next up: We’re headed to Madeira, Portugal for our next video, which (fingers crossed) should be out next week.

That’s all I’ve got for you this week. We’re off to soak in the fall colors! Hope your weekend is packed with adventure and TONS of exercise!!
Cheers!
