This email is coming to you from my usual lake view writing location. And it looks like it’s going to be a warm one today!
Here’s what I found interesting, fun, or thought provoking this week.
My latest podcast –
AAJ 254: Thoughts & Results of FMD (Fasting Mimicking Diet) Round 3
As I mentioned last week.. we did the Fasting Mimicking Diet for the 3rd time and had some pretty amazing results. So, this podcast is all about sharing the data that we collected from 4 of the participants and sharing it with you.
Top adventure this week –
Mountain biking in Wenatchee
With 2500 feet of ascent over about 7 miles, you could say that it was a lot of climbing. But with a lot of climbing comes a lot of decent, which was a blast!
Recent purchase –
Reacher Grabber Tool for garbage pickup – amazon
We go on a lot of walks, and for years I’ve talked about how we should get “one of those garbage pickup tools” so we can clean up the crap that people throw onto the sides of the road.
And I finally bought one!
For $12 I got this super functional 3’ reacher grabber tool that makes our walks not only good for our nervous systems, but also for the environment and those that look at it!
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
Listening to ourselves
How often do you listen to what you are thinking and saying and have an opinion on it? Or even analyze it…
This is like doing a self check to make sure the person that you want to be is in alignment with who you’re actually being.
It can be a little hard to do this at first, but once you get into the routine of it, it becomes a pretty easy and fun game.
I like to think about my thoughts, actions, and words each morning during my gratefulness practice. It’s just a quick run down of the previous day. It’s like I’m coaching myself.
Give this a try. It can be very powerful!
That’s what I have for you this week. If you need anything at all, just let me know!
