So…. We are back in the rainy PNW, covered by a shroud of gray, it’s like a gray soup in the sky. Haha!
But we are getting ready to fly to Oaxaca Mexico for a mountain bike adventure, so no complaints here! 🙂
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Awesome van/car storage –
We currently have 5 of these for the van. They are very well constructed, have internal (removable) organization, and are surrounded by handles for pulling in and out of the van/car.
We use these for tools, bike parts and tools, and even extra seasonal clothes. They are GREAT!
GREAT ab exercise (beware) –
Picnic table GHD’s
DO NOT attempt these unless you are familiar with GHD sit-ups or have very solid core development.
Even if you have a developed core these can leave you sore for a week.
PS contrary to popular belief, abs are a bracing muscle and need to get bigger (like any other muscle) if you want to see them pop out. Your ab work should start with things like heavy deadlifts and squats before doing a GHD anything.
Our continued Canadian MTB adventure –
Best Day in Cumberland?! The Forbidden Plateau on YouTube
This is one of my favorite mountain biking days of our whole trip to Canada!
These trails are STEEP and very technical!

That’s what I have for you this week. I’m going to try my best to get a FGF email out to you next week, but we’ll be ripping through Mexican single track… So… fingers crossed! 🙂
Cheers!
