What I’m reading –
The Search for the Perfect Protein by Dr. David Minkoff
* The key to solving Weight Loss, Depression, Fatigue, Insomnia, and Osteoporosis
This book is authored by Dr. David Minkoff, who is the creator of one of my favorite sports supplements, Perfect Amino, and 41 time Ironman finisher. BTW.
When I picked up this book I wasn’t really sure I’d like it. I was expecting it to be a little on the dry side for me. But it’s fantastic, and very easy to read.
Back when I was dealing with my adrenal fatigue issues the first thing my doctor told me to buy was Perfect Aminos, and they helped so much that I’ve been taking them ever since (to recover faster from hard workouts).
So, if you’re dealing with weight loss, depression, fatigue, insomnia, or osteoporosis… or really any other ailment that you’re not sure how to solve… I would recommend picking up this book. It can’t hurt to have this knowledge.
My top adventure this week –
Mountain biking the Sandy Ridge Trail System
So much fun! From highly technical, to flowy, to some nice jumps, this trail system was AWESOME!!! Not to mention it starts you off with a 3+ mile climb that is GREAT for building an endurance base :-).

Pretty happy with how these 315 deadlifts felt in CrossFit Open workout 20.3 after doing almost only The Get Better Project dumbbell workouts for the last 9 months. Instagram
