My favorite fun activity of the year –
If you would have asked me this anytime over the last 15 years I would have told you that snowboarding was my all time favorite thing to do. You get to play, get fit, Get Better at something, and find the zone.
But as I was riding my mountain bike on Dec 23rd I realized the tides had changed, and mountain biking had taken the crown. I get the same play, to work at Getting Better, easily finding the zone, and it’s SO much more accessible. In a half hour I can pack up everything I need and be on the trails ripping.
SO SO MUCH FUN!!!! Thanks Michael and Emily!!
If you haven’t tried riding a HIGH end mountain bike (we are talking $5k+ full suspension) you could be missing out on one of the easiest ways to feel like a 12 year old. 🙂
Christmas gift to myself –
When I was a teenager I was obsessed with hobby grade RC cars, and have wanted to get back into it ever since. Well, with a little push from one of my best friends… here we go! 😀
