Is it just me, or does it feel like there’s more to do during the last month of the year..?
Here’s what I’ve found interesting, cool, delicious, or fun this week.
My latest podcast episode –
The 7 habits that keep me ripped all year round
It’s in our habits, our daily actions, where we find the real gold. Those things that make the real difference over time.
Here are my daily habits that keep me lean (even when the weather is cold).
What I’ve been reading –
30 days no alcohol experiment by Ben Greenfield
I’m releasing a podcast on how alcohol effects your recovery next Thursday, so I’ve been researching the topic. I should probably just wait until next week, and promote my podcast, but this was too interesting.
Simply staying away from alcohol for 30 days had some very eye opening results for Ben’s guinea pig. Even if you just take a look at the images, you’ll see some very interesting stuff.
I’m also re-reading The School of Greatness by Lewis Howes. Just trying to get some things to sink in.
What I’m watching –
Amazing feats of strength and movement during the 2017 IWF World Weightlifting Championships.
These are the strongest, fastest, most explosive people in the world. It’s simply amazing!
If you lift weights at all, watching this will improve your movement patterns. Just take it all in.
***You will need a cable provider login to watch this on ESPN***
My top post on Instagram –
Working on muscle up timing. For some reason I’ve been struggling with my muscle up timing lately, so this is a video of me really thinking about that.
Thought that I’ve been pondering –
I’m not going to get too far into this thought today, but I’ve been thinking a lot about the habits that I have. And how those habits have formed the results that I’ve gotten (in fitness, business, relationships, etc.). I think this can be very powerful.
They say that we always over estimate what we can accomplish in one year, but under estimate what we can accomplish in three years.
And I really believe that the small habits/routines that we create today can have a HUGE impact over a three year period.
So, just take a second to think about the habits that you have, and ask yourself if they are moving you closer to your goals.
That’s all I have for you this week. I hope you have an amazing weekend!
Let me know if you have any questions.
