I hope you’ve had an awesome week! We’ve survived the Hawaiian monsoon and are back on the sun cycle. On Monday it was raining so hard that we deliberated about walking 800m to the gym for about 2 hours. The rain was warm.
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

My latest podcast –
Staying Focused During the Holidays – Ep. 281
If you feel like the holidays are a time that can get you off track… Or are a time that you need to recover from in January…. Or you’d like like to continue smashing some of your goals through the holidays… This would be a good listen/watch for you!
Movement of the week –
The Bulgarian Split Squat – YouTube Coaching Video
This movement requires little to no weight to be effective, will improve your balance (think playing with grandkids), muscle mass (think sexy thighs), and conditioning (think abs), and can be done almost anywhere.
If you’re really up for a challenge… add these to your next lower body workout as a finisher, and do 8 sets of 10 reps (each leg) going back and forth where you rest one leg while the other leg is working. Enjoy! *If you’re a complete animal, try adding a few dumbbells to the mix.
Think of others first –
We should do this all year long, but… this is the time of year to dig in and do something for those you appreciate (or who you don’t even know).
For those that have had a quality financial year… how can you do something special for those that have helped you out..?
Maybe you’ve had a tough year… I’m sorry. But you will also get something from coming up with a way to do something for others. Maybe something that doesn’t require money.
Take a moment to think about what you might be able to do to give back this holiday season, and put that idea into action.
Sometimes we need a little nudge in this department, but it will be oh so good for the world!
