This email is coming to you from the local, small town library parking lot in Cloverdale OR. Where we are just barely able to ekkkk out a little WiFi.
We are cruising our way up the West Coast to get back to home base on Thanksgiving.
And having not driven this much on consecutive days in over a year, I had forgotten how hard it is to get work done (or anything done) while moving this much. And we’re only driving like 2-3 hours a day. Hot damn!
Anywho… here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…
Black Friday sale I’m gearing up for –
Site wide 50% off Reebok (including CrossFit Nano shoes) with code BFEXCLUSIVE
The Reebok Nano 9’s are my favorite workout shoe (not running shoe), and I plan to pick some up today with the sale. I might even try the Nano 10’s if I can find a color I like… we’ll see.
Book that I’m excited to read –
Ready Player Two by Ernest Cline on Amazon
The first book in the series (Ready Player One) is phenomenal! You might have even seen the movie, which was pretty good, but the book is amazing! You should really read Ready Player One if you haven’t already.
The first book is such a great fictional depiction of what our world could turn into if all of our technologies keep advancing.
Coffee that I’m testing –
Organic Peruvian Coffee with Functional Mushrooms (medium roast) by Laird Superfoods on Amazon
First impression… I’m not a fan of the coffee flavor, BUT the caffeine/mushroom brain enhancement has been noticeable over my regular cup of Joe in the AM.
Also, I’ve been making this as cold brew with my Rumble Go.
I think it’s worth giving this coffee a try if you’re into the mushroom stuff (like I am). I’ll try a different roast next time.
Coolest adventure this week –
Trail running in the Redwoods
This is hands down one of the coolest places ever to trail run! Magical!
That’s what I have for you this week. I hope that you had a great Thanksgiving, and that you snag some awesome Black Friday/Cyber Monday deals :-)!
