This email is coming to you from the Kanab Utah Library parking lot where I have a Rumble Go cold brew in my hand, and we are getting ready to run into Buckskin Gluch tomorrow morning. Buckskin Gluch is one of the coolest slot canyons that I’ve been in!
Here’s what I found fun, interesting, or noteworthy this week…

Purchase I’m loving –
Rumble Go Portable Cold Brew Coffee Filter – amazon
Now we can make cold brew right in our Nalgene water bottles in the van fridge. And it’s GOOD!!!
All you do is adjust the filter for your size of bottle, dump in your favorite corse ground coffee, and put in the fridge for about 12+ hours.
We bought 2 of them 😀
Top adventure –
Canyoneering the Rogue Canyon
Something that I’ve always wanted to do but had never done (mostly because of the training needed) was to go canyoneering down into some of the amazing Utah slot canyons.
But for my 40th birthday (back in June) my brother and sister-in-law bought us all a guided trip through one of the advanced slot canyons right outside of Zion National Park.
What I’m reading –
Compete to Create by Dr. Michael Gervais and NFL coach Pete Carroll
I’ve always been a HUGE fan of the positive culture that Pete Carroll has created with the Seattle Seahawks. It’s a real team environment that you don’t see in many professional sport teams, where everyone cares about each other and wants to do their best.
Just in the first few chapters of the book they talk about your personal mission statement and what you stand for. I’ve thought about this a lot myself (mostly due to all of the Tony Robbins training I’ve done), but I don’t believe that most people have a personal mission statement.
Do you have a personal mission statement or some words to describe your mission? Mine is… Work Hard – Motivate – Be NICE!
